Pierre Turcotte, Chairman of the Board of Alithya, is pleased to announce that Nathalie Le Prohon is joining the company’s board of directors. Ms. Le Prohon’s extensive experience managing fast-growing businesses will be an invaluable asset as Alithya grows in the years ahead.
NATHALIE LE PROHON
After earning a bachelor’s degree from McGill University (1984) and a master’s from Concordia (1999), Ms. Le Prohon spent nearly twenty years as a senior executive at IBM Canada, before accepting a position as president and CEO of Nokia Canada, a leading cellular telephone player headquartered in Toronto.
Ms. Le Prohon began her career as a director in 2007 and has served on the boards of such companies as 5N Plus, BlackRock Metals, and Casavant Frères. Other board and committee appointments have included Bentall-Kennedy, Hydro-Québec, ACCEO Solutions, and the Department of National Defence’s External Audit Committee. She has also served as board chair for Groupe conseil OSI and Fondation du cancer du sein du Québec. She successfully completed the Directors Education Program (DEP) at the McGill University Executive Institute in 2009.
Ms. Le Prohon is active with several non-profits, in addition to her personal involvement with the Fondation du cancer du sein du Québec over the past seven years. She has been a board member of the Vanguard School Foundation, has served on the campaign cabinets of the Montreal Museum of Fine Art Ball, the Marie-Vincent Foundation, and Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, and is a past member of the donation committee of Centraide Montréal’s Major Donors’ Circle.
In 2009, Nathalie Le Prohon was named Concordia University MBA Alumna of the Year in recognition of her business excellence and philanthropic work.
