Take your ambitions to the next level

  • Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement contractors, vendors and other project support staff and stakeholders;

  • Manage:

    • nuclear related projects;

    • staff and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations;

    • the change control of projects;

    • the client delivery and establish requirements as per the procurement procedure.

  • Develop, track and maintain project schedules and budgets;

  • Identify and manage project risks;

  • Authorize commitments of expenditure on the project and approve payment of invoices;

  • Provide leadership to the project team;

  • Serve as the primary interface with client and other shareholders.

Does this sound like you?

  • University degree in engineering, or a technical degree or diploma;

  • PMP certification (in progress or completed);

  • 8 years of work experience as a project manager on nuclear or IT-related projects;

  • Professional experience in nuclear engineering principles and practices applied to project design and construction (engineering change control);

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, while interacting with multiple project teams;

  • Experience:

    • with industry-related scheduling systems (MS Project, Primavera);

    • in the use of the MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

    • in the preparation of proposals and change order requests for clients.

  • Demonstrated experience in:

    • the calculation and tracking of CPI, SPI and Earned Value;

    • developing project execution plans and budgets.

  • Effective communication, writing, organization and presentation skills.

Assets:

  • Nuclear experience.

  • English: Advanced
