Your role, your impact

As an Oracle SCM Cloud lead consultant, you will be instrumental in optimizing client processes and driving enhancements in Oracle SCM modules, specifically Procurement, Inventory, and Planning. Your role will involve managing support tickets, recommending and implementing system improvements, and delivering comprehensive training sessions. By understanding client needs and providing expert advice, you will help clients maximize the value of their Oracle Fusion Cloud investments and achieve operational excellence.

Your impact extends beyond immediate issue resolution. You will proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and success. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless project delivery and foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Your efforts will empower clients to confidently use Oracle SCM Cloud applications, fostering self-sufficiency and driving significant improvements in efficiency and productivity.

Your day-to-day

  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets related to Oracle SCM modules, serving as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations;

  • Analyze client needs and system performance to recommend and implement enhancements, helping clients leverage Oracle Cloud capabilities to their fullest potential;

  • Conduct detailed assessments of client processes and identify opportunities for improvement;

  • Design and implement solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency;

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions for clients, empowering them to use Oracle SCM modules effectively;

  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop and implement solutions;

  • Provide functional expertise to ensure technical enhancements align with client needs and Oracle best practices;

  • Create detailed documentation for technical enhancements, including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows (RICEW);

  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure enhancements meet quality standards and client requirements;

  • Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and provide expert advice on Oracle SCM Cloud solutions;

  • Configure Oracle SCM Cloud applications to meet client-specific needs;

  • Customize workflows, reports, and interfaces to enhance system functionality;

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, accounting or technology;

  • Minimum 8 years of Oracle consulting experience (implementation or support);

  • Minimum 5 of years experience with Oracle Cloud SCM applications, as well as with Oracle Cloud Procurement, Self Service Procurement, Inventory and Planning modules;

  • Proficiency in Office 365 environment, including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote;

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with teams and clients through various channels;

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and analytical skills;

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with strong problem-solving skills.

Extra edge

  • Previous experience in healthcare, hospital, insurance, or financial services industries;

  • Oracle Cloud certifications, specifically Oracle Procurement Cloud 2024 Implementation Professional, Oracle Inventory Cloud 2024 Implementation Professional, Oracle Planning and Collaboration Cloud 2024 Certified Implementation Professional;

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
