Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants lead consultant, you will leverage your domain and functional expertise to design and implement the Projects (costing and billing) and Grants Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules. You will also ensure the integration of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials with other internal modules and external applications.

Your day-to-day

  • Configure Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the implementation, ensuring that it meets the solution design and aligns with Oracle Cloud ERP recommended best practices;

  • Manage the solution design, configuration, and implementation, ensuring alignment with the design;

  • Integrate requirements from multiple design sessions and teams into the cloud ERP system design;

  • Develop use and test cases to test the implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials Projects and Grants modules and participate in the execution of such test cases;

  • Support the project execution methodology, report on the project progress, and proactively identify and manage issues to closure;

  • Communicate impact and risk of deviations, escalating when necessary.

Keys to your success

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP Projects and Grants implementation;

  • Proven experience participating in Oracle Cloud ERP implementations as a Functional Consultant, with at least 3 implementations with Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants configuration responsibilities;

  • Demonstrable experience in facilitating and conducting business process workshops, requirement gathering sessions, proof of concept sessions, conference room pilots, system integrated testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT);

  • Experience working with ERP to mature financial processes and reporting;

  • Experience leading small teams (2 to 4 people);

  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage the scope of responsible modules against the statement of work, and address and/or appropriately escalate, as necessary;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations;

  • Expert knowledge in financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing and support;

  • Functional knowledge of other Oracle Financial Cloud ERP Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, FA);

  • Thorough understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes;

  • Presentation skills, with the ability to communicate and interact with senior and executive level management and influence outcomes.
