We are looking for a highly motivated, career-oriented and passionate Oracle Cloud ERP developer to join our growing Oracle Cloud ERP Center of Excellent (COE) team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain and support integrations, extensions, reports, and application components for Oracle ERP Cloud to meet our internal needs. In this role, you will be consistently delivering great experiences and superior quality work products. You will report to the director, Internal Oracle Applications responsible for the support of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EPM applications.

  • Design, build, test, implement and document complex information systems and processes in a large-scale multi-tier environment;

  • Deliver end-user value in the form of high-quality software components, integrations and services in adherence with Alithya’s policies on compliance, security, performance, longevity and reusability;

  • Own, implement and maintain best practice solutions for Oracle ERP Cloud;

  • Drive software through the software development life cycle (SDLC), starting with requirements analysis and modelling through implementation, debugging, deployment and ongoing support;

  • Create and maintain accurate, unambiguous technical design documents with an appropriate level of detail in a standardized format;

  • Collaborate with functional, technical and PMO team members to complete assigned tasks on schedule and within the estimated effort;

  • Work:

    • with senior team members to ensure compliance with design standards, and contribute to policies on development, design and best practices for code quality, performance and architecture;

    • collaboratively across on-site and offshore teams to ensure alignment towards unified project goals and deliverables.

  • Participate in technical work sessions with business representatives or cross-functional teams for design specifications, for new and existing technical components;

  • Track and maintain all development activities in the designated software development tracking solution;

  • Communicate and work effectively within and across teams to achieve assigned goals;

  • Mentor and train new team members to maximize the team’s overall productivity and effectiveness;

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or in a related field (asset);

  • Over 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 1 implementation in Oracle Cloud ERP;

  • 3 years of experience:

    • designing and developing large-scale integrations between third-party systems and Oracle Cloud Applications using SOAP- and REST-based services;

    • working with SQL, PL/SQL, OTBI, BIP, RTF templates, FBDI, HDL and Workflow tools.

  • Development experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud, Application Composer, Visual Builder and Redwood;

  • Experience working in both sprint-driven Agile project environments and with traditional Waterfall methodologies;

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • software development principles, processes, concepts and techniques;

    • the following Oracle technologies: OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • High-level knowledge of:

    • Oracle modules related to Financials, HCM and OTL. (AP, AR, GL, Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, OTL);

    • the Oracle Cloud Fusion Security framework.

  • Deep understanding of REST and SOAP APIs of Oracle Cloud ERP and building ETL-based integrations through these APIs;

  • Performance tuning and optimization skills, including diagnosing and resolving performance issues, optimizing database queries, and ensuring smooth operation of Oracle Fusion applications;

  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of our growing business;

  • Autonomy for day-to-day tasks or new assignments;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
