Your role, your impact
As a network administrator, you will play a key role in architecting, designing, and supporting business needs. You will ensure that branch employees can log on to any workstation within their assigned branches and have all entitled applications functioning properly, and maintain uninterrupted work throughout the day by preventing workstation or application updates during business hours. Your work will enable seamless customer service and efficient job performance.
The role is open to candidates across Canada, with working hours aligned with US time zones (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Occasional on-site visits for kick-off meetings in the US may be required.
Your day-to-day

Enable simultaneous logins to multiple workstations within assigned branches;

Support the use of all approved branch applications and peripherals, including TellerView, SVP, CRV, Safe Box Entry application, Branch Portal, Compass, network printers, MICR/cashier’s check printers, and multi-function printers;

Manage technology and system administration updates to prevent manual updates that workstations cannot support;

Facilitate the use of new certified and approved software and hardware without disrupting the workday;

Ensure only approved applications are installed on branch workstations;

Coordinate technical on-site support for desktop workstation installation, reimaging, or replacement;

Offer specific branch workstation support for customized help with unique configurations and applications;

Order certified hardware approved for specific roles to ensure appropriate equipment usage.
Keys to your success

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or a relevant discipline;

Experience in the banking or financial industry;

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
