As a consulting firm, Alithya undertakes a wide variety of technically challenging and interesting projects. Accordingly, your specific responsibilities will vary depending on your assigned project. Typically, projects range from six months to two years in duration and are carried out for clients from large firms’ technology departments. In between project assignments, you will work in our Toronto office, assisting with managing our internal new products and solutions.

You will be reporting to the Vice-President, Financial Sector, and will be working with clients and/or Alithya employees to provide trustworthy consulting work.

Does this sound like you?

• Degree from a post-secondary institution in computer science or engineering, with demonstrated academic excellence;

• Ability to:

  • work effectively and produce quality results;

  • work independently without supervision;

  • develop in the front end, middle tier, and back end;

  • connect the application to leading back-end data stores (SQL, NoSQL, big data);

  • develop and debug in Visual Studio.

• Experience with C# development in console and/or web applications;

• Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience in object-oriented design;

• Strong understanding of design patterns and ability to incorporate them in software design;

• Proficiency in MVC, MVP, MVVM, WPF, WCF and LINQ;

Assets:

• Familiarity with C++/CLI;

• Experience with Angular and NoSQL.
