Your role, your impact

As a Microsoft D365 FO senior developer, you will join a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering comprehensive and innovative Microsoft solutions. Leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge, you will help clients optimize their Microsoft projects, streamline operations, and achieve their strategic objectives. In this role, you will be reporting to management on the budget and schedule for assigned projects, on a weekly or management-defined basis. This position involves 100% hands-on development and an opportunity to explore new technologies and make recommendations to management.

Your day-to-day

  • Collaborate with technical architects and project consultants to work on designs, code modifications, integrations, and reports;

  • Translate client needs and requirements into solutions that are clear, articulate and attainable;

  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure project requirements are met;

  • Provide training to clients who wish to undertake their own development work and mentor junior developers in their growth;

  • Write estimates, technical specifications, and developer guidelines;

  • Act as a lead when multiple developers are on a project, conducting design reviews, providing mentorship, creating builds, and writing code;

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously;

  • Meet deadlines, adhere to budgets, and successfully complete projects;

  • Mentor developers at all levels to help them advance to senior roles.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Minimum 8 years of technical experience in a software or IT development environment;

  • Minimum 4 years of D365 FO development experience;

  • Proven experience in managing customization projects and meeting deadlines and budgets;

  • Experience with code management and work item tracking through Azure DevOps, as well as Azure technologies;

  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of coding practices;

  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and willingness to follow the procedures that are set forth;

  • Solid understanding of D365 best practices;

  • Development skills in .NET, C#, Azure Logic Apps and Docentric;

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, human relations and communications skills.
