Your role, your impact
As a Microsoft engagement manager, you will build strong client relationships while managing various implementation initiatives. You will ensure that projects align with client objectives, providing ongoing management and guidance to your team of experienced services professionals. Your role will include ensuring that services, project performance, and deliverables meet business outcomes, while overseeing your team’s adherence to prescribed timelines and deliverable deadlines.
This is a billable role. Travel to client sites may be required up to 20% of the time.
Your day-to-day

Liaise with the client sponsor and steering committee to ensure successful delivery of commitments, quality, and alignment with scope;

Monitor the quality aspects of deliverables and implementation activities;

Review project deliverables to satisfy scope, objectives, and business requirements;

Ensure an escalation path for any deviation to scope;

Remove project delivery barriers and ensure issue resolution;

Identify and mitigate risks and other barriers to successful project execution, escalating issues as appropriate;

Build sponsorship coalitions for managing organizational change;

Monitor engagement performance and present implementation success, challenges, and results in a consultative manner;

Prepare plans and quotes, outlining a specific scope of work to the client with input from the internal team;

Identify key implementation risks or challenges quickly and work closely with your internal team and the client to address them;

Manage the overall profitability of your client implementations, including labour hours and expenses per the approved budget.
Keys to your success

Bachelor’s degree;
-
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience;

Experience with ERP and/or CRM implementations;
-
Ability to identify opportunities for future implementations, gather client requirements and effectively communicate them to your internal client team;

Ability to manage multiple assigned projects and project managers;
-
Effective decision-making and project management skills;

Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal oversight;

Effective leadership and teamwork skills;
-
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
