Your role, your impact

As a Jira Administrator, you will join our dynamic and rapidly growing team, where you will help scale our Jira solution with innovative functionality improvements and enhancements. You will manage, configure, and optimize our Jira Service Management environment for efficiency and scalability, ensuring it aligns with our organizational goals. Collaborating closely with the Director of Managed Services and other internal users, you will deliver impactful functionality improvements and maintain a seamless system.

Your day-to-day

  • Platform administration:

    • Configure and maintain Jira Service Management projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, and automation rules;

    • Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure compliance with organizational policies.

  • Process management and optimization:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient Jira workflows and configurations;

    • Configure SLA measurements and reporting;

    • Build customer dashboards;

    • Import/export worklogs in Tempo;

    • Conduct automated client and internal team reporting;

    • Configure Confluence knowledge base.

  • Integration and automation:

    • Develop and manage automation rules to reduce manual tasks and improve response times;

    • Integrate Jira with client ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Freshservice), as well as with external time entry systems.

  • Support and training:

    • Provide technical support to end users, addressing issues and ensuring timely resolution;

    • Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end users and team members.

  • Maintenance and upgrades:

    • Stay updated on the latest Jira Service Management features/changes and educate the team;

    • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

  • Continuous improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance service management processes using Jira features and best practices;

    • Act as a subject matter expert for Jira Service Management and advocate for its effective use across the organization.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience);

  • 5 to 7 years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with a focus on Service Management;

  • Experience configuring Jira projects, automation and dashboards;

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and frameworks (e.g., ITIL);

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability for delivering solutions with minimal oversight.

Extra edge

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and shell scripts for bulk creation and load;

  • Knowledge of Helpdesk/Support Services environments;

  • Proficiency in Atlassian Suite applications and add-ons such as Tempo and eazyBI.
