IT Compliance Analyst

Your role, your impact

As an IT compliance analyst, you will report to the Oracle applications manager and be part of our centre of excellence within our large IT team. Your primary mission will be to assist the team in executing IT general controls (ITGC), to ensure compliance with SOX and 52-109 regulations, focusing on IT-related issues.

You will be responsible for facilitating and collaborating on processes to ensure that ITGCs are properly designed, documented and maintained in a constantly changing environment. You will manage or participate in specific internal control projects and initiatives, and will be required to analyze, document and/or develop new policies and procedures.

Your day-to-day

• Plan and execute the various ITGCs related to access management, delegation tracking, use of privileged roles, etc.;

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during ITGC reviews on all issues related to Oracle systems;

• Collaborate with Oracle and IT management teams to document processes and collect test evidence;

• Recommend the design and modification of controls to ensure their effectiveness, using a risk-based approach;

• Make recommendations to management and follow up with control owners on deficiencies identified during the documentation and testing phases;

• Help management and control owners remedy control deficiencies and improve the control environment;

• Participate in special assignments, including assistance with various finance and compliance transformation initiatives (IT systems, shared services, policies and procedures, operational audits, etc.) and other internal audit mandates. This may include participation in the documentation or updating of reports, processes or controls relevant to the implementation of a risk management module in Oracle.
