Your role, your impact

As the Director of Oracle Cloud Technical Services, you will lead an Oracle SaaS ERP development delivery team within the Oracle Practice. You will be responsible for resource management, client project delivery and technical presales. By scaling and growing the technical team, you will support the overall growth of the Oracle practice.

This role is open to candidates across the United States.

Your day-to-day

  • Monitor and analyze delivery consistency, quality, and burndown velocity, while optimizing project resource utilization to improve margins;

  • Manage consultant workloads by identifying and analyzing skillets, coordinating staffing and hiring needs, and addressing skill gaps through training and development;

  • Enhance project controls, refine technical artifacts and methodologies, and increase efficiency in integration development;

  • Lead all new project initiations and collaborate with other pillar leads, sales, and project management to ensure resource budgets and timelines are adequate to ensure quality delivery;

  • Provide recommendations on changes and design enhancements to improve reliability, security, processes, and performance;

  • Foster a collaborative and respectful team environment by acknowledging contributions, maximizing each member’s potential, and resolving conflicts effectively;

  • Promote innovation, creativity, communication and effectiveness, always striving for continuous improvement;

  • Manage and collaborate with offshore delivery teams;

  • Seek more efficient ways to provide technical delivery services (AI, RPA, etc.).

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, computer information systems, or finance. In place of a bachelor’s degree, any suitable combination of education, training, or experience will also be accepted;

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software delivery management or an equivalent leadership position;

  • Experience:

    • with ERP technology;

    • building and managing offshore teams and internal processes;

    • planning and driving delivery along the entire development life cycle.

  • Incident/crisis remediation skills, with the ability to coordinate a response during major events;

  • Proficiency in complaint de-escalation techniques and ability to build trust with client contacts;

  • Ability to read and recognize trends in regular reporting and make data-supported recommendations;

  • Ability to switch contexts effectively while keeping the team focused on key priorities;

  • Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
