Your role, your impact

As the Director, Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP), US, you will report to the Senior Director, Global Business Partnerships. In this role, you will collaborate with Alithya’s US divisions to ensure the alignment of the Global Human Capital strategy with business objectives, while maintaining a positive employee experience. You will execute the human capital strategic plan and implement talent and organizational initiatives.

The position is intended for an experienced HR leader capable of working strategically, tactically, and operationally in a dynamic, multi-divisional, and global environment while managing various short-term and long-term priorities.

This role offers the opportunity to support Human Capital strategy and operational functions across multiple divisions within the organization. As the Director, HCBP, you will play a key role in supporting business growth and fostering a high-performance culture.

Your day-to-day

  • Provide leadership and guidance on HR matters including employee relations, performance, and other key areas such as compensation and engagement;

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Human Capital Business Partners;

  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional Human Capital teams to support the implementation of Human Capital initiatives that align with business goals and drive organizational success;

  • Support leaders with workforce planning, addressing talent needs and collaborating with Talent Attraction to meet organizational needs;

  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and company policies while overseeing daily HR operations, addressing human capital challenges, and supporting decision-making.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field;

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in US-based Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, including experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams;

  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership to drive business objectives and implement talent strategies, ideally in organizations operating in multiple countries and in growth environments;

  • Deep understanding of Human Capital processes such as employee relations, performance management, talent management and workforce planning;

  • Strong knowledge of US labor laws and regulations, with a global perspective on HR best practices;

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Extra edge

  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR);

  • Experience in a consulting services company, preferably in IT, or in a company with a history of acquisitions, supporting diverse teams and navigating organizational change.
