In this role, you will support the total rewards group by conducting analysis, manipulating and reconciling data, producing reports and collaborating on a variety of projects in the fields of compensation, benefits and talent management.

  • Support:

    • the annual compensation cycle, including merit, short-term and long-term incentive plans;

    • quarterly variable pay plan forecasting activities in collaboration with the finance team;

    • and collaborate on ad-hoc projects.

  • Diagnose, test, and resolve issues with the team supporting the Human Resources Information system (HRIS), including the salary review process, variable pay plans, and job architecture;

  • Participate in the compensation survey submission process, which includes understanding survey methodology, job matching, data gathering and validation, benchmarking, and preparing data submission files;

  • Produce various compensation analyses and conduct reconciliations using Microsoft Excel;

  • Administer benefits programs by verifying invoices and employee lists, processing invoices, and assisting with disability management tracking;

  • Gather HR data from various sources, analyze it, and compile it into comprehensive reports;

  • Create and implement effective reporting processes to produce reports highlighting key metrics and trends;

  • Extract and maintain a variety of reports;

  • Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs within the team;

  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by:

    • running queries and analyzing data;

    • collaborating with our global shared services team and Human Capital business partners to resolve data issues.

  • Participate in the testing and implementation of Total Rewards modules, including base salary review, short-term incentive, compensation statements, group insurance and wellness;

  • Provide support in researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws;

  • Perform scheduled activities;

  • Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements;

  • Contribute to the development of communication materials, templates and procedure documentation.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (asset);

  • 2 years of experience in reporting and data analysis;

  • Experience in compensation and/or benefits management (asset);

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets;

  • Ability to:

    • interact effectively with employees at all levels;

    • manage conflicting priorities;

    • function well under pressure;

    • treat all information with confidentiality.

  • Detailed-oriented, strong organizational skills and sound judgment;

  • Client-focused and people-oriented.


Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec, as well as to read, understand and produce documentation.
