We are seeking a international compensation advisor to join our Total Rewards team. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of various programs and projects. You will contribute to the transformation of the employee experience by implementing, enhancing and administering compensation management policies and procedures on a global scale.
 

  • Develop, propose and manage direct compensation programs based on market practices:

    • Participate in the development and implementation of compensation program policies and practices;

    • Support the company’s salary review, bonus and incentive processes;

    • Participate in the management of long-term incentive programs and the company’s Share Purchase Plan;

    • Review practice governance programs and propose changes if required.

  • Manage the company’s salary structures:

    • Review and/or implement salary structures;

    • Maintain job architecture and internal equity;

    • Participate in various compensation surveys to obtain market data and ensure that compensation structures are aligned with the reference market;

    • Participate in the integration of new acquisitions into compensation structures.

  • Provide advice and expertise on international compensation issues:

    • Collaborate with various internal partners by providing expertise or training.

  • Work closely with members of the Human Capital team and the payroll department to assist in the planning and execution of various projects.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, actuarial science, or a related field;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR team, preferably in compensation management;

  • Excellent customer service skills;

  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools.


Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers, clients and suppliers outside of Quebec, as well as to read and understand documentation.
