Dana Adès-Landy has an MBA in finance and accounting from Concordia University, and obtained her BSc in microbiology and immunology from McGill University. She is also a chartered mediator and chartered arbitrator. Her impressive career as senior executive spanning over 25 years has involved positions within banking institutions and various companies in the financial services sector. National Bank, KPMG, Ministère des Finances du Québec and Scotiabank are some of the institutions where she left her mark. Known for her ability to mobilize and motivate, Ms. Adès-Landy has exceptional expertise in both business development and creating and managing teams. A solid mentor, motivating coach and fine negotiator, she is skilled at communicating and has well-developed interpersonal skills. In addition to being chair of the board of directors of the Association of Quebec Women in Finance, she sits on several other boards.
Robert Comeau has more than 35 years of experience. He was the chief financial officer of Lumenpulse Inc. until 2015, and previously held similar positions at Aveos Inc., Prestige Telecom Inc. and Emergis Inc. Mr. Comeau also acted as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board at Media5 Corporation. Mr. Comeau also sits on the board of directors of H2O Innovation and is a member of its audit committee. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from HEC Montréal and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
TELUS Ventures chairman François Côté oversees investment strategy development and implementation and value creation for TELUS. François has held a number of management positions over his almost 30 years’ career. In 2004, he was appointed president and CEO of Emergis. Following TELUS’ acquisition of Emergis in January 2008, he was appointed president of TELUS Québec, TELUS Health, and TELUS Ventures. He has served on the boards of the Montreal Heart Institute, Lumenpulse Inc., and EXFO since January 2015. In June 2013, he was named Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the Canadian Force’s 34th Signal Regiment.
Fred DiSanto is the Chairman and CEO of Ancora. He became the CEO in 2006 and Chairman in 2014. Mr. DiSanto leads Ancora and its three Registered Investment Advisors along with its Broker Dealer. Prior to joining Ancora, Mr. DiSanto served as the Executive Vice President and Manager of the Fifth Third Bank’s Investment Advisors Division overseeing Investment Management, Private Banking and Trust and Banking Services. He served as President and CEO of Maxus Investment Group from 1998 until December of 2000, which was subsequently sold to Fifth Third Bank in January 2001. In his role at Maxus, he was responsible for the marketing, sales and financial operations. He also served as Managing Partner at Gelfand Partners Asset Management from 1991 until its merger with Maxus Investment Group in 1997.
Fred earned a Bachelor degree in Management Science from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management (Cleveland, Ohio).
PRESIDENT AND CEO
A Computer Engineering graduate from the Royal Military College of Canada and member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) and Institute of Corporate Directors, Paul Raymond has more than 30 years of experience in the business world. Before becoming President and CEO of Alithya in 2011, this visionary held several key senior management positions in a major information technology firms and served as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. He has traveled to and lived in many parts of Europe, the USA, and Canada while in these functions. In addition to overseeing the strategy, organizational development and accelerated growth of Alithya, Paul is also the promoter of the company values and culture, which he shares with his team. Recognized as a builder and a leader in the industry, he was recently admitted to the select 30% Club, which promotes diversity and advocates for the advancement of women to executive and board positions. On behalf of Alithya, he also received the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from EY Québec in the IT category. Paul Raymond also sits on the Board of Directors of the Quebec Technology Association (AQT).
As an ardent promoter of social responsibility, he assumes the role of presidency of the organism and he’s also President and President of the Board of Directors for the Quebec chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, furthermore, he spends time for several other causes.
The founder of CIA, now Alithya, Ghyslain Rivard is a major shareholder and serves as an advisor to senior management. Mr. Rivard, who graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1982, has over 30 years of experience in the IT and business services sectors. He also spent more than four years with the Desjardins Group prior to founding Alithya (CIA) in 1992.
Mr. Rutherford served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ferro Corporation from April 2012 to September 2016. From July 2008 to April 2012, Mr. Rutherford served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. Mr. Rutherford served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at UAP Holdings Corp. from October 2007 to June 2008 when it was acquired by Agrium Inc. Previously, Mr. Rutherford served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at LESCO, Inc. from 2002 to 2007 when it was acquired by Deere & Co. in 2007. Mr. Rutherford served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of OfficeMax, Inc., from 1997 to 2002, after having previously served as its Senior Vice President and Treasurer, from February to July 1997. From 1983 to 1996, Mr. Rutherford worked at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Rutherford earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Baldwin Wallace College.
Mr. C. Lee Thomas is an independent corporate board member. He served in various roles with Ernst & Young LLP from 1976 to 2014, including as Managing Partner of the Cleveland office and Northeast Ohio Market Segment Leader, and as a Director of TCP International Holdings Ltd. Mr. Thomas has an extensive global experience doing business in China and other countries, and a deep expertise in rationalization of manufacturing facilities, corporate investigations for accounting irregularities, mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs, public offerings, compliance, and risk management. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Baldwin Wallace University.
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
In his capacity as Chairman of the Board, Pierre Turcotte brings over 32 years of industry experience. He held a variety of management positions and has expertise in several strategic sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, public services and manufacturing and distribution companies. M. Turcotte has worked in Canada, the United States and Europe. He focuses on strategic initiatives to accelerate Alithya global growth.
