CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
In his capacity as Chairman of the Board, Pierre Turcotte brings over 32 years of industry experience. He held a variety of management positions and has expertise in several strategic sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, public services and manufacturing and distribution companies. M. Turcotte has worked in Canada, the United States and Europe. He focuses on strategic initiatives to accelerate Alithya global growth.
FOUNDER AND ADMINISTRATOR
The founder of CIA, now Alithya, Ghyslain Rivard is a major shareholder and serves as an advisor to senior management. Mr. Rivard, who graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1982, has over 30 years of experience in the IT and business services sectors. He also spent more than four years with the Desjardins Group prior to founding Alithya (CIA) in 1992.
CEO AND CORPORATE SECRETARY
A Computer Engineering graduate from the Royal Military College of Canada and member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) and Institute of Corporate Directors, Paul Raymond has more than 30 years of experience in the business world. Before becoming President and CEO of Alithya in 2011, this visionary held several key senior management positions in a major information technology firms and served as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. He has traveled to and lived in many parts of Europe, the USA, and Canada while in these functions. In addition to overseeing the strategy, organizational development and accelerated growth of Alithya, Paul is also the promoter of the company values and culture, which he shares with his team. Recognized as a builder and a leader in the industry, he was recently admitted to the select 30% Club, which promotes diversity and advocates for the advancement of women to executive and board positions. On behalf of Alithya, he also received the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from EY Québec in the IT category. Paul Raymond also sits on the Board of Directors of the Quebec Technology Association (AQT).
As an ardent promoter of social responsibility, he assumes the role of presidency of the organism and he’s also President and President of the Board of Directors for the Quebec chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, furthermore, he spends time for several other causes.
DIRECTOR AND CHAIRMAN OF THE CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND HR COMMITTEE
TELUS Ventures chairman François Côté oversees investment strategy development and implementation and value creation for TELUS. François has held a number of management positions over his almost 30 years’ career. In 2004, he was appointed president and CEO of Emergis. Following TELUS’ acquisition of Emergis in January 2008, he was appointed president of TELUS Québec, TELUS Health, and TELUS Ventures. He has served on the boards of the Montreal Heart Institute, Lumenpulse Inc., and EXFO since January 2015. In June 2013, he was named Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the Canadian Force’s 34th Signal Regiment.
DIRECTOR AND AUDIT COMMITTEE CHAIR
Member of the Quebec Order of CPA’s since 1984, Livia Masnaghetti is a business and finance professional, with multidisciplinary expertise (mergers & acquisitions, financial accounting and reporting, carve-outs and spin-offs, IPO readiness, etc.) across a variety of industries including technology, loyalty, financial services, aviation, utilities, retail and manufacturing. Livia is fluent in four languages and has acquired solid international experience working directly for public companies, start-ups and as an external consultant to, and auditor of public and private companies. Prior board appointments include the Canadian Liver Foundation and CDP Technologies (Sofinov).
Mr. Carreiro oversees nationwide operations delivery for managed IT services (MITS) and client services management, along with client services and operations for TELUS Québec. He also leads the national Reliability Leadership Team.Along with national responsibility for MITS, Mr. Carreiro and his team focuses on service delivery to Telus Québec customers, including deploying large, complex deals, client management, and TQ operations.Mr. Carreiro has held senior IT leadership positions in operations, application development, architecture, and strategic planning in the financial, outsourcing, health and telecommunications industries. He joined TELUS in 2008 when the company acquired Emergis. He had joined Emergis in December 2000 as senior vice-president, Operations.
Dana Ades-Landy has an MBA in finance and accounting from Concordia University, and obtained her BSc in microbiology and immunology from McGill University. She is also a chartered mediator and chartered arbitrator. Her impressive career as senior executive spanning over 25 years has involved positions within banking institutions and various companies in the financial services sector. National Bank, KPMG, Ministère des Finances du Québec and Scotiabank are some of the institutions where she left her mark. Known for her ability to mobilize and motivate, Ms. Ades-Landy has exceptional expertise in both business development and creating and managing teams. A solid mentor, motivating coach and fine negotiator, she is skilled at communicating and has well-developed interpersonal skills. In addition to being chair of the board of directors of the Association of Quebec Women in Finance, she sits on several other boards.
With a BA and MA from the University of Oxford in England, Dvai Ghose has over 20 years experience in business and finance. He also completed specialized studies in philosophy, politics, and economics. His concentration was in political and economic analysis in the Middle East and Eastern Europe with honours. As part of his career in the world of finance, he first held the position of manager and analyst for HSBC’s telecommunications department from 1996 to 1999. He then continued his ascent within CIBC World Markets until 2006. In May of the same year, he joined Canaccord Genuity, where he was put in charge of research and analysis for the telecommunications department for all of Canada. Since 2015, he has headed all the activities in this division of the company on a global scale, and manages over 200 employees, including 80 financial analysts. Since May 2017, he assumes the additional role of Head of Strategic Development for the group. He also sits on the company’s management committee.
